Volunteer Recruitment

Volunteer firefighters play a critical role in protecting the community by responding to fires, medical emergencies and other incidents, particularly in rural areas of Belleville. They work alongside full-time firefighters to help keep residents, visitors and property safe during emergencies.

Volunteer firefighters may respond to:

  • Fires and rescue situations
  • Medical emergencies
  • Motor vehicle collisions
  • Hazardous conditions and other emergencies

They also support:
